I can see absolutely nothing. The rain is lashing down on the roof and has made vision through the velux impossible. Added to that PR3 has just become the epicentre of a thunderclap that has shaken my fillings and the bowels of the cat loose. The outside light has packed in, the drain has blocked and so the drive is underwater, the central heating is on the blink and I failed to cut wood for Dear Heart's stove.
it has just been pointed out that everything on the boat works perfectly and should anything need attention it gets it immediately - unlike the house where this apparently does not happen.
Is it me?

regards
Claymore

I take it you have oft heard the words

'YOU PAY MORE BLOODY ATTENTION TO THAT BOAT THAN TO ME...'

or even

'MAYBE IF I HAD A KEEL AND AN ENGINE I WOULD GET TOUCHED UP HALF AS MUCH'

It is sunny in coventry , but that is no consolation for being here.

Go ahead and play the blues if it'll make you happy.

Glad to see you have your priorities in the right order, but down here in the far SW the sun is shining. Don't rate Sunday very highly though, which is a pity because it is the last day of two Autumn series in Plymouth. Poor old Royal Western hasn't raced for 3 weeks.
Have a nice weekend.

Palm trees, bright blue sky and a couple of old duffers on the first tee. 9.30am about 75F outside. Finished my coffee and read the papers. I may even mosey down to the boat and fiddle with something until the sun gets too high in the sky. Have a great W/E folks.

Sunny/cloudy, 23C, just cycled thro. the forest along the lakeside in shorts & T-shirt. (Came across a herd of long horned highland cattle - incongruous.) May go up to the boat for a few days if the winds over the Bay (Biscay) have moderated.

There's a lot to this packing in work lark!

Hope I\'m not too late...

Sweet Lucy is due to come out of the water on Monday - I hope she doesn't take herself out of the water on Sunday. We're coming down to Cornwall this weekend so we can watch her break her mooring... while looking for the roof on the beach

From my window I can see the Ekofisk kilo, clear as anything, mind you I am 200 feet up in the air on the eko X, the waves are down to abouit 35 feet now, and the wind has DROPPED to 43 knots, so It's just a normal day out here, not raining right now, but has been snowing a bit, outside temp -3, windchill god knows! But it's nice and warm here in my office typing this!
