Hi !

I've got an old fridge on board - still works very well, but I want to replace the seal gasket around the edge of the door.

The manufacturer no longer produces the model in question - does anybody know of a seal/rubber manufacturer in the UK, who may produce something that I can cut to size to act as a door seal ??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Eric.

In my limited experience these seals are either stuck to the door or fitted into a groove. Could you cut a piece off and take it to a refrigeration engineer/installer many of whom advertise in Yellow Pages.

if it's the magnetic type you need, a trip to your local tip will net you lots of old domestic fridges.

for plain seals, your diy store will have various types of self-adhesive draught excluders. the type with a p-shaped cross section are better than the foam ones.

self-adhesive neoprene strip is available in lots of places including <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.sealsplusdirect.co.uk/>here</A>
