One the way home tonight on the radio I heard that cornish farmers are turning their surplus cow sh.. into methane for power genration and it got me thinking.

Some boats have a holding tank and you can buy lpg conversions for engines and get a compressor fitted in between fuel tanks and engine.

So here's my recipe, invite all my friends on board for meal lets say 14 pints of lager and a curry on a friday night.......................... and fill the tank!

The best trick seems to be to turn redundant cooking oil into diesal. Loads of recipes for this duty and tax free stuff on the Internet. The problem, apparently, is how to get rid of the residue. The Council might blanche at having it dumped with your groceries.
