"email us up to 30 words along with a photo of your boat and we'll try to include it in the classified section of our next available issue - completely free of charge.
It's in all their mags.
Basically you email a photo and something like 25 words to them and they will publish it foc when they have the space available.
It's a win win situation
More than coincidence I would think. You got your posting in just before me.
I will know how good it is as I advised someone to try it out.
On the same theme. I was in B&Q in Dunfermline this morning and left at slightly over £50 poorer but I also got the last dehumidifier they had at a £18 discount.
Sailing Today used to offer a very cheap subscription (under the last ownership) of about a quid a copy. Has anyone heard of this new one. The problem is (as you know) said Oriental gentleman may just take your quid and run.
In the last edition they had a leaflet insert with a special offer of 6 issues for £6 (then the usual £2.50 (or whatever) per issue if you don't cancel after the 6 months)
I have just finished an annual (Xmas Prezzy 2005) subscription to Yachting Monthly.
Would you like to resubscribe at a preferential rate they said.
Got excited for a fleeting moment, then noticed the cost had been hiked-up & then discounted back down to almost the same cost as the last sub.
Also hidden in the small print that the £16 something is only for 6 months.
Felt that I was being 'conned', so no new subscription.
Shame really, always a pleasant suprise each month as it flopped thru' my letterbox & wasn't a Bill!
