still two beds available during the forum dive cruise,
also non divers are welcome,

OR

actually its the crew cabin which is available,
we could consider to hire a cook for the week, (I know some good ones)
would be a relieve for a few guests I believe :)

In my case it would be that for the others :)
LOL, no worries.
One of the FdC 2012 members had zero experience with cooking, and he asked his son to teach him some dishes just before joining the FdC.
He eventually treated us to an awesome dinner, and I'm not joking!

Anyway, B, also from our part either way is fine.
And we wouldn't mind also doing more that our turn of cooking, just in case there would be other participants and any of them really wouldn't want to cook.
We are thinking to make just a few dives anyway, as last year.

By the way, the refreshed crew cabin looks awesome, can't really be called a crew cabin anymore!

As with everyone else, we are happy to go either way with the flow. I do think that having a cook would make for a more relaxing trip for E, S and S (as well as for Scubaman and Rob). So, we would support the idea of a cook.

Your call.

One final thought......if the cook is in the crew cabin, where will the red dot bay babes go?;)

If there's still 2 places available myself and my good lady would like to be part of this , I dive and she is more than happy in the galley (after a day in the sun)

Regards

OK thats all arranged in one booking then :)

no seriously, I'm sure that we can share the tascs ao cooking between a few candidates,
and that a few inexperienced participants will surprise the others ;-)

Gemini,

I've just realised that you were also on the initial candidates list last year,
but don't remeber why you were missing on the final list ?
anyway, you and your lady are welcome onboard.

so for the time being we are fully booked (unless one wants the foldeable office bed)
new candidates are on the waiting list.

Gemini and Rob,
May I asc you to PM me your e-mail adresses,
more detailed info will be communicated by e-mail.

Oi, you don't mean my office, do you? :)

Jokes aside, I'm actually glad that it'll be a 'forumites only' cruise.
I mean, all of us would have appreciated the services of a pro cook, of course.
Otoh, last year the cooking turns were part of the fun, and I'm sure it'll be the very same!

PS: Pinnacle point re some crew members bearing more of the hard work is a good one, though.
While they're not listening, between us (males) I guess we should commit to help them a bit more...

yes your office is going to be crowded during the FDC, with S and myself,
good find by the way, my laptop has found a good base there,
......
but I had very little time to sit behind it during the past 2 easter weeks :)

Bringing up a dead thread but on an off chance...
Finally got permission off SWMBO to go solo 'if I so wish'

If a spare bed comes available on anything that floats on the cruise, i'll happily take a space. Willing to dive/crew/helm/get narcosis ... anything really now that i've got permission :D Only thing I have to give up is that SWMBO wants to have a girls weekend on the Cranchi ... EEK ... BUT, she is happy that the boat is just left on the berth ... phew, i'll only have a messy boat to clean and no gelcoat to scrape off the rocks

LOL, maybe it has something to see with my basic, non-mother tongue English, but for some reason 'if you so wish' makes me think that she actually meant 'if you dare'... :p

I must have the same limited understanding of english but that's exactly how I read it too...

But I'm sure you know that alt. And the fact that whichever way this turns out, the milk is already spilled as you wanted to go solo :)
