Can somebody advise on source of Formica sheet or similar that can be glued on to a galley worktop?. Used to be easy to obtain but now doesn't seem too common.

Try...

Formica isn't easy to find these days. Try builders merchants first. Or try a Google search for "melamine".

Its easily found at any 'Travis Perkins' builders outlet or if you search for 'formica' on the web then you'll get their site details.....North east or some such me thinks.....

Agree, I wanted exactly the same a few months back and found difficulty tracking down a stockist. B&Q useless, 'never heard of it, sir', as they say of everything they don't actually stock. Other places can supply it but don't stock it, which doesn't help with comparing patterns and checking suitability.

Eventually resolved by calling Formica Ltd. in Newcastle on 0191 259 3000, who gave me the name of the nearest local stockist - a builder's merchant 30 miles away.

Cost was £30-£80 per large sheet, depending on pattern, enough for several galleys. If you can arrange collection (Kent), I have loads left over.
