Formation of New Sea Storm Chaser Club

Brendon

I have come up with a theory that shows that maybe you are not telling porky`s at all. And what you say about venturing out in a force 10 could be feasible
To this end I have prepared a very long post that will get you off the hook, giving you the benefit of the doubt.
However you are not getting it for nothing, has been said (not by me of course ) that you can be a bit of a basty nastard so all you have to do is to be nice and polite to everyone for 48 hours - starts at midnight – Glundy is the Judge.
What do you say.

…………

I have no doubt that Brendan is teling the truth - you only have to look at his image to see how he perches his boat high up on a rock - now how do think it got there? It was easily an f10 and he was flying at the time - just that the rock was in the way. You see the answer has been staring us in the face all this time!

It's just a bit of fun chap.
I agree that it's everyone's perogative to kill themselves in an F10 if they want to,
but surely a bottle of diazepam is a much less stressful method all round?

Steve.

I was down to a lot less than 40knts at times during that particular trip, particularly coming round Start Point! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

You do the man a injustice

The truth lies in the last post lying in my word processor but now it will never out and alas must die with me.
Shame, it took me an hour to write and was very good
You may see it in my memoirs.

So does this club have a stripper?

………..

The trip home was excellent though - Salcombe to Needles in under 4 hours, which nearly equals my best time for that trip. Lovely cruising conditions the whole way. Except the Needles Channel though, which was rough as buggery!

I would be happy to arrange an annual convention out here, say for a week - can usually manage everything between at least F0 and F9 in that time frame and with luck a F10 or even a good 80 knot southerly blow as well.

Several forumites have already surveyed the waters from the vantage point of a 500 foot ferry.

Last boat standing takes all /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.
