Has anyone else had trouble with orders from 'Force Chandlery' (Waveline leisure is their email) Placed order on the 5th and still no signs of it turning up, even after a phone call over a week ago!! Pathetic service.:(

Given that their email is a gmail address I'm immediately suspicious, especially since they own the forcechandlery domain as well. They also operate the same site at wavelineleisure.com which says to me that they are probably chancers. Competent shops don't need to litter the internet with lots of domains with names close to their competitors. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think I'd trust them.

A wander with google maps down the street implies it is at best a very small industrial unit. Couldn't find Force Chandlery but did find thst Marine Megastore are in the same lane and decidedly unimpressive looking premises for dealing with "your superyacht needs", looks closed down. Think you are dealing with a one man outfit.

Verging on the ragged edge of passing off too given that the name "Force Chandlery" was surely chosen to cause confusion with the excellent Force 4 brand operated by Windward Marine Ltd. (who have no connection with the operation in question) as no doubt "Waveline" was chosen due to being a well known brand of inflatable boat

And lo, we find that Medline Marine Distribution Ltd. shares an address with our old friends and favourites ... yep, you guessed it ... Marine Megastore!

Marine Megastore are infamous around these parts for poor or nonexistent service. They operate by drop-shipping (holding no stock, and getting your order sent directly by the supplier), which is not inherently a problem but in their case seems to work really badly.

Maybe these other names are Marine Megastore branching out as the stink of their existing brand begins to spread?

I think you'll find it's FARCE for Chandlery!! Just called Swanwick branch up to enquire about a couple of parts.. "hold the line for a moment while I serve this customer please" was her response, I then listened in for the next 5 minutes while she served two customers and then proceeded to bitch about customers to her colleague once they had left the shop clearly having forgot I'd been left hanging on the phone :( Hung up in the end

And yet I (and many others) have had nothing but excellent service from Force 4. One uncharacteristic slip does not a fraudulent operation make.

+1 I ordered some stuff recently, a few items of which were out of stock. They e-mailed me immediately, gave an estimate of when the things would be in, sent the remainder of the order, then sent the remainder FOC when they arrived with themselves. Can't ask for more.

I can only concur with that so yep, I am being unfair to them as a whole. still, the experience today wasn't great so warranted a mention
