As i pen (or should it be key?) this post, Forbsie is down at Eel Pie Island taking delivery of his new engine.....oh happy day !
Whilst we are talking about Forbsie (well, we are now even if we weren't before) you may remember that some time in the past he asked me if he could have a Buckingham Owners Group on my website and I took the p*ss and suggested that he might find it a bit lonely. Well, would you believe it, he's found another one actually ON Eel Pie Island and yet another a few hundred yards downstream at Hammertons Ferry.....bl**dy hell, 3 of the bl**dy things..........
Wots really annoyed him tho' is that the one on Eel Pie Island has just removed a 1600cc diesel and fitted an outboard......and how much time did FFForbsie spend trying to find a 1600 diesel?.......!!!!!!

I get wound up enough by Boatone, thanks very much. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Trevor actually watched my boat coming off the truck back in May, but I haven't seen him for ages ('cept on the telly).

I discovered that his was actually petrol, so no good anyway.

He has, however, taken off an old sterndrive, which I'm going to pinch the prop and cone off of. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

As for the Buckingham Owners Group members (or the BOG roll as we can call them), you will be surprised how many may join. The reason that Bosun won't talk to me on the phone is that he is embarassed that his owner is dragging his feet over this issue of setting up the site when him and Clive are sitting like Norman No-Mates in their respective User Groups. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

I think that you Princess and Broom Owners better get joining and contributing before the Buckingham Boys take over.
