The seat of our ‘loo’ never stayed up on its own, (only gents will understand the need for that one). Whilst in NZ I found a child-proof fridge door closure for a couple of $’s. One bit sticks (double-sided tape) under the seat, ‘tother on the bulkhead behind. A clear PVC strap clips over the two keeping seat and lid up and avoiding the possibility of a double vasectomy, due to wave action at an awkward moment.
