Why not order them direct from PYI?

Well, I was hoping someone would but in with something like "these are exactly the same but far cheaper and include free shipping"
Seriously, shipping from PYI on the starter kit (including drills, tap and countersink as well as 4 off anchors) is a mighty $26, and that's on top of the already pricey $84 for the kit itself. A bit rich for 4 floor anchors I feel...

I agree but every reference I have seen has been to the original items.
Perhaps a Dzus fastener could be found with similar properties .... Fairly small and flush fitting. Trouble is with Dzus it's likely to come to £10 or more per station as well! Southco is not known for supplying 'a couple of fasteners'.
Livelock may have something in their catalogs http://www.specialty-fasteners.co.uk have a look at 715, 716 and 919 series and the 'livelock'
