Don't you know that when you visit the Ouse / Humber it is a rule of this forum that you have to call a meeting of the Northern Forum Association. (members 2 - me and the diesel addicted M. Whiteley) at a local hostelry and buy us a beer. I thought everyone on here knew that!

Norman Fletcher was one of the first people in this country to mass produce ski-boats. I can safely state that I have never heard anything but good about his craft, many many years of hands on experience went into the building of them.

The Zingaro is great sea boat. Great hull albeit slightly power hungry. Built when builders put a bit more "glass" in boats. Getting on in years now so would be wise to get the engines checked over closely.

it is called LA GITANA, it is a 1988, looks like its had a full refit, but it is 23k and has nothing except the extreme basics - ie doesnt even have a vhf !!!

so i think it is poss on the expensive side

The one i knew was 'March hare'. One of the first few built.
Windows leaked like sieves when new & Fletcher had to refit the inside under warranty.
When returned from Fletcher, the Driver took the wrong route.... Low bridge + Radar arch = crunch!!
Back to Fletchers

I think it was OK after that tho

Why change Stu? the 2655 looks a better package to me. The Bayliner distractors haven't got to you have they?

nah, but the bayliner is not particularly quick and very partial to the exterior seating to wear very badly (surprising really considering the majority of boats designed to be used in the florida area!!)

i did want a sunpad, that can also be used as a bed when i bought "fawkes" and settled for something lesser - also especially if i do change and take her down to the med it'll be ideal being able to sleep outside

i know the zingaro is smaller inside but to be honest i want to spend more time outside, thats the whole point in going in the first place
