I got to replace my flares any idea where I can get rid of the old ones? I am based in Hythe, opposite Southampton.

I think I heard you can hand them in at the Hamble Point Show this coming weekend - there are certainly a few events a year when you can do this - called a "Flare Amnesty"

Also many chandleries will accept the old flares when buying a like-for-like replacement

Most Chandlers will take the old ones if you buy the new ones from them. At least the one at Shamrock Quay will.
