Going out is no problem, it is coming back in which is the problem. Once you are close enough to read the cill properly it is difficult for a boat of your size to turn around in the channel and head back. If there isn't enough water over the cill the channel is very narrow for a long way. Just aim to be crossing the cill at high tide and you won't have a problem. I will move my boat well out of the way!!!
