Here’s a turn up for the books (do people still say that)
There was a small suspected leak from a seacock. I had brought supplies to clean it up and search for leak plus a catalogue to order TrueDesign for replacement…that would arrive ready for the annual haulage.
A soon as I started cleaning the leak started squirting in two places (that grew into one)…and was the thru hull

I tried putting anti leak tape on but just couldn’t get two hands into the space in the cupboard housing the electrical panel.
So I declared an emergency and we took the boat home while the wife booked the take out
And we called the mechanic… who is young and slim…just how I like them

So here we are …sitting in 20c sunshine at a restaurant overlooking the boat on the hard

This was the big break in the weather that she has been looking forward to…I ruined it

Anyhow despite the loss of the perfect weather…and the un budgeted cost…which will be eye watering….the alternative is far worse….
Not fixing the leak…and selling the boat to Hot Property
