Iam looking for any information on the finnsailor35, with regards to her sailing ability,is she seaworthy, and any thing you think would be of intrest, thanks
hello i live in demark
there were sold loads of these back in the 70´s. they were sold as good sturdy seaboats. and i can remember back then, when we sailed a 21ft dayboat, thinking that thing must be ocean going.and the owners rich, because you could buy a bungerlow for what they cost.
today theres one close to us at the marina.i have a motorsailer myself.with a long keel and yesterday it was blowing up and i thought to myself. that a sailing summerhouse like the finnsailer. a bow thruster is a must.the boat being sold as sturdy and seaworthy ect. you can read as not over rigged.dont exspect to sail close to the wind. and rekon with backing the foresail to come around. these boats were sold for their volume.
not their sailing for sail qualities.
