There is a large colony of seals only a mile from my marina and I often wonder why they don't come in to feed on the many grey mullet we have.

Last winter, we had one in the River Yar. Plenty of mullet there too.

The Yar is generally pretty clean. Though the local sewage treatment plant could potentially discharge, it’s on the bank.
