Finding a berth in Spain.

I’ve seen a boat that I like in France (near Marseille) but I really want to be in Alicante, Spain.
I’ve put myself on their waiting list but what to do in the meantime?
Ideally I’d like to be near Alicante until a berth there comes up.
I’m currently in Torrevieja if anyone knows who to speak to here?
Boat is 14m.

You've got a few holding options (north to south)...

Denia (the posh marina, not the council one)
Calpe
Marina Greenwich
CN Altea
Villajoyosa (probably the most likely to have berths)
Santa Pola (ditto)
Or further south like Tomas Maestre (Mar Menor)

You've just got to pester them all to see who's got space.

Another option might be MARINA PORTBLANC which is operating but under construction (building restaurants, etc).

In Torrevieja talk to Shahzad at MSK. I always found him very helpful.

There is a load of new development all around the marina area in Torrevieja it is changing a lot.
