What do you mean? Visitors' spaces will, I'd guess, be limited at Largs and Rhu and, in any case, some of the Fife yachts already appear to be berthed in Kip for the duration. To get up close, if you've a boat, I'd go for Rothesay where I expect the yachts will be on moorings or at anchor, or on the steamer pier.
The Fife Regatta is a bringing together of racing yachts built at the William Fife yard at Fairlie in Ayrshire, just South of Largs.
I think this is only the second such and runs from 22 June to 26 June. Mostly around wee and big Cumbrae with a race up to Rhu. The last day is off Rothesay.
The Fife family built for the likes of Thomas Lipton for his Americas Cup ventures. As well as building the boats, the yard supplied most of the crews.
There is a good book on the history of the yard, "Fast and Bonnie" which you will find on Amazon. The only remaining trace of the yard in Fairlie these days is the weather vane on the kirk steeple which is a model of one of the Shamrocks.
