There has been some epic boat searches on this forum….you might be the champion
In my honest opinion…you should get a boat. Not because you will use it a lot…or for long. But because you have an itch that needs to be scratched. So, buy a boat…use it for a couple of summers…then sell it on. And you can be at peace with yourself

Well done Wansey.....your wife has just made a classic rookie mistake.....you must quickly respond with, ‘so how much is it worth ?’....and whatever number she comes up with....you reply, ‘OK, lets make them an offer....’
Now, you might not get it for that price....but the wife is now part of the buying process....and whatever number the vendor comes back with....your wife will start negotiating with them....

I always thought it might be fun to meet Wandsie, but now I am not so sure.... But, I don't have a boat for sale, so perhaps I am safe? Do small children run away when they see him?

On the lower limbs numbness, old friend has this and is beginning to find car pedals a bit difficult. Looking for something with bigger pedals, like a small jeep type.

I have a bit of feet numbness but it seems to be getting gradually better,brought on by strenuous work with the mower in the wife’s finca….looks like a lower back problem doctor suggested walking ……more…….Wandsie is an urban myth

No commitment, a mini adventure , in a foreign town, yet effortlessly, painlessly forgotten.
