Fender hooks

Looking for 10 what I call fender hooks. So basically like a meat hook shape but with a fixing to go round the 22mm deck rail. Can't find them anywhere. Thanks

Try Caltoncraft - I got some plastic ones from them.

Milady doesn't do knots, so I have my fender lines made up to length with something like this.

That works perfectly for a guard wire, but round the rail and clipped onto itself would work as well. Cheap as chips.

Each fender is numbered and goes forward of the stanchion, number 1 - 4 from the bow.

I just tie a clove hitch on to the guard rail or wire - easy peasy and very adjustable.

I couldn't find any clove hitches and had to make do with a round turn +2 but I found they were quicker and easier to adjust.

If you add two half hitched you will never loose a fender again.

I use fast fenders. Just when swmbo lifts them it would be nice just to hang the bottom ring of the fender to a clip. I'll make something up.Thanks

I use Fastfenders like the ones in the link. Single handed I have to put 6 fenders out very quickly, otherwise I'll be swept into a bad place so these are perfect. If I had the time I would clove hitch but even a clove hitch can move over time. I know this because I have a regular supply of stray fenders that land up in my corner of the marina.
