I'm looking at ordering some custom made fender covers from "Compass Marine" in Dartmouth. Has anyone any experince of their product - what's the durability like?
I'm sure they'll easily last enough time to pick up grit and grind it against your hull.
Fender covers look great but not really a fan

depends how you look after the boat i guess - this is a proffessionally run boat that gets rinsed or washed daily when in use! Covers save chafing on paintwork and squeeking when boats are squeezed togther in Med marinas.
They also pick up salt crystals in rough weather and dust from the atmosphere. Not to mention sand, when the wind blows from the south. Much more effective than 280 wet and dry.![]()
