Hi, I have his book 'Kuran, around the world' Very good and a very different world back then.
The boat is parked up in Brittany as a sort of floating museum piece.

In the port at Le Croisic, north side of the Loire estuary. Looked after by an assoc and open to visiters. Friend saw it recently and seemed in good condition. He didn't have time to go aboard.

On interesting yachts.. Bernard Motessier's Joshua sails out of La Rochelle, seen her several times while out there. Also visited his grave at La Bono. Among all the nice encised memorials in granit and marble, a simple rough stone. Surrounded by loads of mementos from well wishers. Shells and other simple things, often from far off places.
