Man I know fell in love with a Broom 1070 on the Thames which had been up for sale for some considerable time.
Made a couple of long round trips to view boat and then made time for broker to view his boat as part of a deal.
Went up again for a quick test run on boat, problems with turbos.
Finally went up to yard for when boat lifted for surveyor.
The bottom of the boat is covered with fibreglass pox.
Both seller and broker express amazement of the sudden appearance of blistering.
No meeting of minds regards cost of repairs so sale collapses.
Prospective purchaser says goodbye to lift and survey costs and other expences.
Somebody knew !
