Is "Man Maths" possible?
i.e. ... this is out of budget, but ...

Are the lakes not fresh water?
I had noticed this boat and very nice it is too but it’s a 5-6 hour drive plus the logistics of surveys, sea trial and transportation.
I’ve sent a contact email. Never know they may have a good deal.

I hate that phrase 'Cheeky Offer' that has crept into life recently...…. In my world it should be called an insulting offer. If I received an offer which I considered to be so, I am afraid that would be that with that buyer. I would refuse the insulting offer and any other offer they made no matter at what price...… Just be fair and honourable[/QUOTE a big statement from someone who is happy to dodge vat ,is that honourable

What VAT is that I have dodged. If I buy something from ebay and the price is x how do I know if vat is included or not in the x. Same as anything you or I buy I am no VAT expert so have no idea if it should have been paid or not or indeed if I have paid it

Tell me what you have dodged in your time...…. Any Tax you should have paid per chance

Anyway these two items are not connected. I stand by what I said about so called 'Cheeky Offers'

Yeah, right.
It's all well and good if you argue that your buying habits have nothing to see with the topic which is being discussed.
But don't pretend also to be candid, when we all know by now that you are not.
You obviously aren't born yesterday, but we didn't just fall off the turnip truck, either.

Are you from the North or South... Because up North a Turnip is a Swede and down south a Swede is a Turnip...… Which truck was it you did not fall off... Just want to be clear

Let me put it this way: what part of "give us a break with smart@rse statements" you don't understand?

...Surely a contract is void until its signed by all parties?...
No, AIUI a concept called "battle of the forms" applies where the most recently received paperwork applies. The cut off date would be the point in time that service commences, which I guess would be the time of survey in this case.
