Failed sea talk output

One of the sea talk connections on my ST60 multi has failed. I presume I can just connect anywhere else on the bus. Was thinking of just piggy backing the input to the multi. It's just for the autopilot remote.

Yeap, you can connect it anywhere on the bus

OK thanks. Any idea what goes on between the 2 sea talk connections on the back of the ST60 multi. There's no 12V on one. Can't see any fuses inside.

There should be three connections/ wires +ve seatalk and - ve

Yes got that. No 12v on the +'ve sea talk. It's working now with the remote just spliced into the cable. Not ideal but it works. Thanks for the advice.
