Been getting some good solid advice from another forum member but wondered if anyone can advise on 1999 model F36's with KAD43p's.
Its a dealer boat and i am looking to buy but would be grateful for what to look for etc.
Thanks
Simon

I have been teaching on one at an RYA school all year.

All round these are good boats, accomodation is good for 4 adults, performance is fine, boat handling is excellent (nice and placid for teaching).

The access to the top of the engines is fine but to work around the side you need to be either very skinny or very small.

Fuel economy is good and if treated right engines will run well. The boat I teach on has nearly 2100 engine hours, it is 1999 so you do the maths and you will see that it has worked hard.

So in short, good work horse and with flybridge you have the option of two steering points.

Get yourself a good deal though as I am not sure about residual values, brand name not as strong as Princess, Fairline or Sunseeker. But then the price is a lot less dont forget.

Look at your budget and see what else is on offer.... you wont find much with shafts in the price range you are looking at.

Good luck and safe boating

Nope

The old Missing Link F36 (Calm Voyager name carried by the two F37s plus the current Broom) had 44s not 43s.

That F36 carried me around Britain safely for five months so probably horribly biased about it. In many respects I think it is a fractionally kinder sea boat compared to the F37 but then I'm 5ft 4in so the extra headroom of the F37 is valued less than the reduced top hamper!

The 350/360/F36/F37 hull works really well -- easy at slow speeds and can make it plane from about 13-14 knots up with a load of tab; normally from about 15 knots up. Loads of other info posted about this model -- search on F36 specifically on Motor Boat Chat.

Go along with everything Lozzer says as its my school boat hes refering two. Good sea boat, economical, (19.25 gph as cruiseing 23knts). Not the fastest with 43's perhaps KIm can tell you how much more you'd get from 44's. Good luck
