We would have had a night in Minehead but with Easterly winds its a no no.I once had a real battering floating off in minehead in a 15 knot Easterly.Never again unless sure of only Westerly winds during the stay.

This 15 year old pic of Porlock Weir shows the Bristol Channel Pilot Cutter"Breeze"afloat in the pool. Sadly she is now looking very unloved chocked up on the slip with lots of rot and neglect. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Hi Graham. Your picture of "Breeze" comes up as unavailable. Agree Minehead in an Easterly is not a friendly place. Used to keep a little Drascombe in there and actually had the hull holed after an Easterly breeze.
