Its beautifully filmed, this is part 1, about an hour long, and part 2 should pop up. I've also noticed he has videos of a trip from alaska to nova scotia via the galapagos, and one through the straits I glimpsed a title of, not sure if its the bering strait what, but my next job is to go find it and watch it.

I know its a big motorboat, but thats fine, there is almost nothing about the boat in the vid, it's all about the route and the places visited, including his grandfathers old croft on Jura.
Enjoy.

Venture is a Fleming motor cruiser and the videos are made by the founder of the company who has sold most of his interest in it to go cruising, my interest was aroused after I was aboard one owned by a former client when we met in Kyle of Lochalsh, impressed by the quality and attention to detail, seem to be very capable boats. Like Steve, I have watched the whole of the first trip to Iceland and look forward to watching some more.
On Fleming Yachts website there is an interesting account of some guys bringing one across from America to the Med. they installed bladder tanks which filled most of the accommodation.

Just found One Small Step, which seems to be about a dozen hour long vids of some of the cruises on this boat since the company was started, Watched part 1 and looking forward to the rest. My wife walked in and said, oh that looks interesting, must watch that. Something she has NEVER said about any sailing video made :)

Aaaah! Steve, your sailing days might be over not that long after they started, don't do it, you know that I talk from painful experience.e

Lol, don't worry. She nearly fainted when I told her his fuel bill, and then told how much it would cost to nip across to Kent, cruise about and pop back in one of the smaller power boats moored around Bethfran. Plus she does actually like sailing, just likes to daydream occasionally about the champagne lifestyle :)

Absolutely fantastic films. Just watched a couple of the Alaska ones. As Dylan Winter used to say, watch them on a big screen. This is the west coast of Scotland on steroids, and this guy is as good a film maker as DW.
