Excellent Adverc Service

If any of you are thinking of adding a smart charger I can highly recommend the Adverc unit www.adverc.co.uk.

I bought mine back in 97 and recently it all went pear shaped. I mailed Brian at Adverc and followed his advice and he sent me a new sensor free of charge and also checked over the unit itself again, free of charge. I even said if the unit is duff just sell me a new one but he returned the old and said it was in perfect working order and I didn't need to buy a new one!

It's so rare these days to meet such personal and excellent after sales service I thought it worth mentioning on the forum.

Yes, they are a most unusual firm in that respect: sent me a diagram of how to wire the existing controller on a new alternator instead of paying them £23 for a new one.
