EVC fault code.

Hi,
On starting the engine yesterday, I had a fault code displayed on the evc control panel.
The engine ran for about seven seconds, and then cut out.
Tried several times to start the engine, but the same thing happened.
The code only appeared once.
Fault code was mid 128 pid 51 fmi 7
What fault does this code refer to.

Are you sure it was PID 51? As that doesn’t appear to be in the manual

MID128 is the engine ECU, and FMI7 will be ‘mechanical system not responding properly

But the middle bit can be PID, SID, PPID or PSID with all of them followed by a number, so this middle section is important to get right
