Thoroughly p%$#ed off that the Part B of my Epifanes PP has set solid so need to buy some more, £50 for the hardner alone or £90 for both A+B!

Jeez, it's good stuff but after this I won't be buying any more 😒

Just a point but maybe it has gone solid due to the cold? Resins based stuff does have this annoying habit, try warming it up in hot water.

Alternatively you could buy International, who don't even sell the part B on its own. I've got two things of Part A and no hardener to go with them!

Interestingly, I bought some two part paint from SML years ago and the hardener for that stills sounds liquid in the can.

Mine had about an inch of liquid but very milky so I assume either low temperature and or air in the tin. I was fuming as I travelled 250 to the boat to do three jibs, two of which I needed to have a cat free boat, one was to strip and re-varnish the galley, failed!

maybe didn't do the trick of when sealing after last use, turn can upside down for a couple of days and then store normally?
how old was the varnish?
