After 3 weeks of no boat, you realise just how much you miss the relaxation of it all. Fast running out of summer now and just wanna get back on the water! Its true to say, I now can't imagine my life without my boat. Never again will I venture off course to avoid the bigger boys!!

Better to give way to the bigger boys than be sunk by them. What happened to you and your boat?

Got a bit nervous whem 2 bloody great cruise liners stole my intended course so instead of just sitting back, i went too far inshore and the ground came up and bit my prop.

>>elders and betters

I think keeping out of the way of several tens of thousands of tons of steel moving towards you is never a bad idea.

Joining you in frustation: somewhere on a shelf in Watford is a small green metal disc labelled as "860755". The soonest anyone can get me an "860755" is Tuesday, and Flower Power is unable to proceed without one :(

drove past Keypart yesterday, could have picked it up for you if that's where it's at ;)

Ta, but it's at the VP central depot.
I could probably bodge it with JBWeld, but would prefer to wait for the real thing rather than have many gallons of seawater sloshing around in the bilge again 22 miles offshore.

Its all part of the learning curve. There are three " islands" named after me in Poole Harbour. Seems that I am a slow learner.
