With all bar 1 of my regular crew away, the planned French weekend awayday was cancelled. Steve and I decided to just potter out to the Nab on Saturday.
Very enjoyable, sunny, light winds, full sails, saw the racers round Nab and we romped back to Chi with the spinny up big 7kts in 10kts breeze.
Best part of the day was watching the Dolphins and a young Basking Shark feeding on the flood tide about 2 miles south of Chi bar.
Is it me or are the numbers of weedy blue and black 5 gall cans attached to pots getting more common than 'proper' red markers in this area? Even saw a fender used this way.
