err, take it this is a hypothetical question you don't actually want an answer to! Where from?

How'd you work out the quantity? <running for cover>

We got an oil pressure warning off Portsmouth, immediatly came back to idle and shut down the Starboard engine. We had a quick look in the engine bay where we saw a massive pool of oil and oil sprayed all over the other engine so we carried on to Chichester on one engine (took forever) wondering what had caused it.

It appears that the oil is leaking (gushing) from somewhere around the oil cooler but there was so much oil lying around that we couldn't pin it down this evening. It will have to wait till next week because Moose snr is working and I am away. It must have drained the sump in seconds. Mmmmm, the engine has only done 1000 hours, not good is it!!

Well good luck with identifying the source, and hope it's nothing that can't be sorted quickly
