engine survey.

Had the engine survey done yesterday. glad i did boat needs 2 cowhorns and a raw water jabsco pump £2700.00. waiting for owner to call me back.

how much is parts and how much is labour?

PARTS: horns 600 for pair, pump 320 ,crane 180, labour 1200 plus vat on all that.

So why dose it need to come out? Or do you mean water intakes. Never heard of cow horns before. All sounds allot of money for a few bits and pieces.

Well in my boat it's the bit from the air intake to the turbo, can't imagine why it should cost so much.

don't forget that Ian is price positioning I suspect, the money to come of the price? Then getting it done is another matter. Could buy a good little car for that sort of dosh, frightening!

exhaust horn ,cowhorn ,bull horn ,trumpet call them what you like but engines have to come out to do them
