i have a 25 year old boat, twin petrols, engine bay needs a decent clean up, can anyone offer general advise or product review to get some decent results?

What type of boat? A steam clean is always effective but not always practical.
Otherwise a good degreser and lots of rag.

Fulcron is pretty good if the oil/grease is not too bad.

[/ QUOTE ]Don't think Fulcron is readily available in South Bucks.

Gunk is a great degreaser, but it's not easy to get rid of the residual smell! Jizer is probably a better choice for use inside a boat.

try having a word with Oil Technics. They make a range of biological cleaners and degreasers used in the refining industry, navies, commercial fleets, etc.

There stuff worked a treat on my engine room bilge when I had a big engine room diesel leak
