Cummins requirements as simple as a wheelbarrow.
Multigrade oil 15W 40 meeting; U.S. API CH-4 or Global DHD-1 or for Europe ACEA E-5
Cummins CES 20077 adds the requirement for 300 hr test to ACEA E5.
Just about every commercial vehicle/agrcultural factor holds oils to this spec usually mineral base.
You will derive no benifit just added cost from trying to source oil to the above spec in a synthetic base stock as Cummins does not approve any extension of oil drains with the use of synthetic oils.
Most commercial factors also stock Fleetguard filters, inexpensive and the best. You should be paying about £6 for a lube filter.
Oil pan capacity 14 litres plus 1 litre in the filter.
