Engine maintenance DVD

A lot of windows versions dont come with a DVD codec for various silly reasons. Try sticking it in your home DVD player, or a mac with iDVD or get a hold of something like the excellent PowerDVD software (for windows).

First write down exactly what the errror message is.

If your computer has a fairly recent operating system then use "Start | Help and Support | Windows update" and update your system. Download and install the recommended updates for your system (not the "Custom" options).

If this does not fix the problem the type "Codec error" into Google and you will get about 1.5 million hits, on the first page or two you will probably find a free download to fix your error.

Good luck, George

Mine was missing!

Is it worth the hassle getting a copy??

Maybe for some, but its very basic stuff like checking oil level, changing fuel filter, bleeding fuel lines. I was a bit worried about how tight he was doing up some of the bleed screws.
The most advanced part was testing a starter motor it would have been better showing you how to remove and re-install it.

Sorry, can't advise whether it's worth getting a copy; I fell asleep after the first five minutes /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Just tried it with PowerDVD6 - still the same /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
