A lot of windows versions dont come with a DVD codec for various silly reasons. Try sticking it in your home DVD player, or a mac with iDVD or get a hold of something like the excellent PowerDVD software (for windows).
"Home DVD player"
"mac with iDVD"
The man thinks I'm made of money!
That level of cash only gets spent on the boat.
PowerDVD software - that is on my list of things to try (30 day evaluation) /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
First write down exactly what the errror message is.
If your computer has a fairly recent operating system then use "Start | Help and Support | Windows update" and update your system. Download and install the recommended updates for your system (not the "Custom" options).
If this does not fix the problem the type "Codec error" into Google and you will get about 1.5 million hits, on the first page or two you will probably find a free download to fix your error.

Maybe for some, but its very basic stuff like checking oil level, changing fuel filter, bleeding fuel lines. I was a bit worried about how tight he was doing up some of the bleed screws.
The most advanced part was testing a starter motor it would have been better showing you how to remove and re-install it.
"just like having a mechanic on board" it says.
Having a larf arent they? Are we supposed to stick this on when we conk out on the briny, assuming we have a dvd player on board.
