Ok looking for 36 ft on shafts, diesels with fly bridge 15 to 20 years old with good double and good twin 80 k budget what hours are good for each engine and best boat help.

I don't think the engine hours have any bearing at all at that age. Ignore the number and judge purely on the condition of the boat (including mechanical state of the engines).

A fair line 36 sedan or turbo for 80k if a good bet.

If you can go another 10k you can have a more modern 41ft fly princess with walk through transom door, stainless windows and gloss woodwork, basically the next evolution up from your budget and years etc, mine has good double and twin with own heads, twin 340 hp volvos, heating and a massive generator for those nights at anchor or cheap moorings without power etc, she has just had annual antifoul and full cut back and wax polish, seriously my arms ache! But she looks luvly, pm me if your interested she's on the hamble.
 
look at the service history on the engines rather than the hours. You won't wear out a boat engine. The few that fail, fail through neglect. Don't get sucked in by shiny new electronics and upholstery either - the engines and hull are the expensive bits. (although if you can find service history and good interior and electronics that would be great) At your budget you should have no problem, also at present its definitely a buyers market so don't be shy. All the british builders make good boats , although you may detect a fairline preference around this forum, Princess 410 ;-) would be a great boat

I had a Fairline 36 sedan a good seaboat and i agree with previous poster look at engines and hull, keep a bit up your sleeve for upgrading navaids, upholstery etc.

Look at condition and how well looked after it is. regular attention is the key.
 
Or a late 80's Fairline 40 with crew cabin and twin TAMD61A's (306's ??).

But then again, a few of us have posted ideas already for the OP in another thread over on PBO :confused:.
 
Why not try newer for your budget, Antares 10.80. My old boat is on with network yacht brokers Swansea, 450 hours and immaculate. She will take you anywhere for £70-75k. Not the most luxurious boat in the world, but a 2001 flybridge 36 footer twin cabin with bullet proof Penta D4's is worth considering.

We had many fun times on her and when caught out in a F7 she felt great, I was faking confidence to my wife at the time but the hull was fantastic. Just a thought....
