Hello - Apologies for seeking opinions on my first post, but hopefully I can make that up to you all in the future!
I've had an outboard powered boat for many years, but I'm finally making the move into the world of diesel powered outdrives.
The boat I'm looking at has 2 KAD300 engines with DPG legs fitted (installed c2001/2). It appears that these have been serviced by a VP main dealer at regular intervals. I'm still waiting to see the receipts, but assuming they come good, what would the panel recommend that I do next?
I'm having a pre-purchase inspection survey done on the boat and this might cover some mechanicals. I've spoken to a different VP dealer who can do an inspection and accompany me on a sea-trial, but doesn't do surveys due to "insurance issues".
Thanks in Advance.
