Yes - and well worth the visit. Go 'inland' a fair way and you can anchor off the inside beach - row or swim ashore and walk to the outer beach (if the sands not too hot!)

Keep clear of the entrance when anchoring as it cuts up and there are a lot of small motor boats all vying for a small channel, so its worth travelling in a bit towards the old town. You can also pick up an empty bouy in the channel if there is one but anchoring is fine. Remember the stream does get quite strong at springs. Sandy bottom. The entrance is a bit tricky as the sand bank moves - so use the marked channel as last year it was ok, but avoid low water, half tide is fine.
