Echo pilot Bronze log issue

I have an Echopilot Bronze depth and log. The depth works fine, apart from going to zero when it gets a depth change from time to time, no idea why but it keeps going?
The Impeller has stopped working, it lost a magnet which I replaced with a slightly shorter one from 1st4magnets and it worked OK. Then got pressure washed ( yes, I forgot to remove beforehand) lost and replaced again. But now it's not working in spite of double checking it all.
Any ideas, or do I have to bite the bullet here? Hate changing anything especially thru hull

Update. It is working but only displaying on the master screen down below. I sail solo and so only saw this at anchor. Just need to work out now why no display on slave screen

Could try spraying all the connections with contact cleaner. Similar thread running about NASA Clipper.
