I am planning to install an Eberspacher in my Sun Odyssey 36.2 this winter. The obvious place in terms of electrics and ducting would be well forward in the port cockpit locker but this means taking the exhaust fitting through the side of the hull rather than through the transom, as seems to be recommended. As far as I can see, the exhaust would be at least 1 metre above the water line and there would be room for a decent swan neck inside. SOs do not tend to sail with the toe rail in the water, at least not with me aboard! Any comments, particularly from those who have installed on a similar boat would be very welcome
