Dufour CT 12000 from the 80\'s - info required

Having sold Corsair last year, I am getting itchy feet again, so time to start looking for another boat. SWMBO actually started it - finding a couple of example of the above boat in Greece and Turkey.

Use would be in the Med - ie no blue water stuff,

I cannot find any info on this 45 footer, other than fairly poor literature supplied by the vendors - no underwater shape etc.

I am very much a fan of centre cockpits in larger boats as it avoids the cofin like stern cabins of the modern fat arsed stern cockpit boat.

Any info would be grately appreciated.

Yup - seen that one on the internet - its under offer. hoping to find out a bit more about its sailing capability

I think your SWMBO crew is trying to tell you something - twin berths in the owners' cabin - hmm!

Doesn't anyone know anything about this bateau - rather taken by it because its almost a double decker like my last one!

Not a lot of knowledge out there...

Interwebland seems a bit thin on CT12000 info. Wonder how many Dufour made? Teak decks seem to be a problem with them, and some boats have had the teak ripped off and the deck laminated over. Don't think the US boat's aft cabin sleeping arrangements are standard (see drawing below for what I assume was the standard layout). Why not ask some owners? There are some owners' email addresses on this page, and another one on this page (you'll need to click on the little envelope to send an email). Saw one comment on a French forum which suggested that they maybe don't sail too well.
