We quite like motor boats. They have lovely flat sides for rafting on. Works for us.I guarantee I would not.
It looks inexpressibly vulgar.
Is it owned by one of those beastly Russian oligarchs hoping for a peerage?

We once rafted up on a large motoryacht in Guernsey, looking very bedraggled and sorry for ourselves after a rough crossing. We quite like motor boats. They have lovely flat sides for rafting on. Works for us.
They were very good people...I would have told you to pizz off and don’t come back until you’ve got fender socksWe once rafted up on a large motoryacht in Guernsey, looking very bedraggled and sorry for ourselves after a rough crossing.
The owners, British, were very kind and provided us with a hot meal and drinks.
What do you mean by that? They were very good people...I would have told you to pizz off and don’t come back until you’ve got fender socks
I can put the fender socks back on if you like. I think I’ve got all the grit out of them now. It was the lock we were in yesterday. The stone walls were very crumbly. They were very good people...I would have told you to pizz off and don’t come back until you’ve got fender socks
I hope you would put the grit back just for him.I can put the fender socks back on if you like. I think I’ve got all the grit out of them now. It was the lock we were in yesterday. The stone walls were very crumbly.
Only sometimes…I’d like the yottie phrase of ‘come along side’ to be amended to ‘crash landed’...since that’s what they all do anyhow
Not us, we can’t allow that to happen. And we have a long cloth rather than fender socks. Though I’d quite like yellow fenders with blue dungaree fender socks.I’d like the yottie phrase of ‘come along side’ to be amended to ‘crash landed’...since that’s what they all do anyhow
If you had a set of signal flags you could always hoist Quebec Oscar at themI’d like the yottie phrase of ‘come along side’ to be amended to ‘crash landed’...since that’s what they all do anyhow
...And if that doesn't work, you could try Sierra November. If you had a set of signal flags you could always hoist Quebec Oscar at them
And there was me thinking Honfleur was a classy place.Resurrection of an old topic. I'm in Honfleur. They had a regatta at the weekend and a few yachts are still dressed overall. Forget the printed or sewn debate. One of them has shiny plastic!
One moment like that can make up for the other 10 where the entire club committee have a grandstand view of you cocking it upMe too. It was the scene of one of my greatest berthing moments years ago, when still quite inexperienced.. Mooring alongside in a space just longer than the boat (a 45 foot fly) in front of a watching lunchtime crowd.
