Dressed overall 2 - what flags do you carry

Me too. It was the scene of one of my greatest berthing moments years ago, when still quite inexperienced.. Mooring alongside in a space just longer than the boat (a 45 foot fly) in front of a watching lunchtime crowd.

That’s nothing. One club-mate of old once took the barge Marjorie into the inner harbour.

A couple of years ago a couple of young ladies showed us ‘the plan’ (as in 10 things I hate about you) as we sailed past their moored large yacht. That was in Bouldnor Bay, so bravely done.

Are we back on flag etiquette again?

My boat came with a French flag and a Occitan courtesy one.
When re-registered I put on Red Duster with the French and Occitan courtesy.
When I went into Spain I put on Spanish and Catalan courtesy but some people said the latter gets frowned on some places.
Back to French/Occitan now but will be switching to Aquitaine when I get back and move north of Toulouse

We only have the red duster, club burgee, French courtesy flag and a Brittany House flag (Madame is Breton).

It was our club's 80th anniversary last weekend, which got me looking at a set of signal flags. Alibaba had a set for a bit over a fiver with free postage, but too small for us. Bigger ones could be had for about £16, but they wanted the same again in postage, which strikes me as dishonest, so, no, I won't be going there either.
