Its a charter boats for expensive holidays up in the Kimberley, the heli is to fly you over the remote areas as you cruise around them. Supposed to be very good experience if you have the cash.

I guess the charter boat is down south in Perth, away from the potential cyclones in the Kimberley's up north at this time of the year.

Just returning from a boat charter in Oz, in fact I'm typing this at Shanghai waiting for the connection to London. I'm amazed at the number of cats in Oz, in fact most marinas we went to had more cats than mono hulls. We chartered a Perry 44.5, a huge boat for 45' and great fun. If it wasn't for the prohibitive berthing costs for cats in the UK I would be very tempted indeed.

Hope your charter went well.
There is a huge concentration of cats on the Queensland Coast, especially around the Whitsunday Islands. The boats are popular in the charter fleets because of the bridge-deck/living space and cabin separation when onboard numbers are high.
