Kent that is. I am after a big favour. I need some sort of loading dock. I have to get some Caterham Sevens into lorries as they are off for a tour around the States. Thanks for your time. Here's hoping!

Oldgit,

The requirement is that we have a way to bring an articulated lorry into a
yard towing a 40ft container and to push three Sevens into it. This will
mean a loading bay at the right height or a leveller system and or a way
to push / lift / drive the Seven on to the loading bay.

What we need to do is to bring fourteen 40 ft containers in and to load 3
cars in to each container. This can be done in shifts in accordance with
the capacity of any yard we find.

We will need the loading dock on or very close to Friday August 19, 2005.

I hope this helps!

If you rented/borrowed/stole a standard car transporter, the the type with an hydraulic top deck with a bit of playing I'm sure you could accomplish a load,or alternatively put the containers on the ground drive/push the cars in and crane container to lorry.Or just find a bit of scrap land knock up a ramp with a JCB and a bit of hard core,or even just get 10 fit men and lift the damn things on,they're only little!
Shame the Sappers aren't down that way anymore they would have done it as an exercise!
If you want some publicity for this venture why not put ramps on the back of the containers and load them on the M20 a la "Italian job",I'm sure Meridian would film it!
