Do I need to re-proof my canopy?

From my understanding the standard product is designed for things like tents, which spend a few nights outdoors but are normally packed away. The Gold is designed for products, like awnings, patio umbrellas etc (and boat canvas) that live outdoors. I wish I could remember where I learnt this, as I'd leave a reference.

This year I used Gold on my uppers, with left over standard on the side sections. The one time I've seen rain on it there was a good bead.

Based on that knowledge and the good demonstration so far (only been a couple of weeks) I'll be using Gold throughout in future.

Fabsil Gold is much better than the standard, it remained waterproof for two years, just redone mine so hopefully will get another two years.
